Latest message from the White House: At the direction of the President, the U.S. military has taken decisive defensive action to protect U.S. personnel abroad by killing Qasem Soleimani, the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force, a US-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization.
Beijing and Tehran should stand together against “unilateralism and bullying”, Wang Yi told the visiting foreign Minister of Iran in the Chinese capital on Tuesday.
Mohammad Javad Zarif replied that Tehran would “keep close communication with China … to safeguard each other’s legitimate rights and interests”, according to the Chinese statement released after their meeting.
The Iranian minister’s visit follows a trip to close ally Russia and comes just after the first-ever drills among the navies of the three countries in the Gulf of Oman, near the Iranian coast and the oil-rich Persian Gulf. The exercise marked the first time that Moscow and Beijing sent warships for joint maneuvers with Iranian forces in the Indian Ocean.
In the months since a missile and drone attack widely seen as the work of Iran left two Saudi oil facilities smoldering, Saudi Arabia has condemned attacks on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad with Iran again as the black-hand behind the terrorist attacks.
When meeting with Major Garrett of CBS Evening News who asked “Should the American people contemplate being on a war footing in 2020 where Iran is concerned?”, Secretary Michael Pompeo replied, “This is state-sponsored terror. This is Iranian-backed terrorism that took place that threatened American interests. We’ve taken a fundamentally different approach. We have starved them of resources, we have denied them access, we have put pressure on the Iranian leadership.”
Shortly after the attacks, the U.S. carried out precision defensive strikes across five sites in Iraq and Syria in retaliation for attacks by Iran-backed militants following Friday’s attack that killed an American contractor and injured U.S. service members.
A State Department official said in a press conference, “We are not looking for any conflict in the Middle East. These were defensive strikes. But we are not going to let Iran get away with using a proxy force to an attack – to attack American interests, and we will hold Iran accountable for these attacks, which we have done.”
The State Department has told, “It shows that the President has done a very good job of balancing and calibrating our diplomatic efforts in terms of our foreign policy in Iran, Iraq, Syria, and also backing that up with the hard power.”
The Americans are sure that Communist China was the major trouble maker in the Middle East conflicts although the Trump administration officially denies the assumptions.
When asked “Do you assess that China, for instance, has provided any kind of strategic support to Iran of the sort that would embolden Iran to launch this campaign of attacks that you observe against bases where there are U.S. forces located?” A Senior State Department official said on Tuesday, “No, we have not seen that level of assistance.”
Pompeo has been much critical of China’s human rights abuses the same as he does against the Iranian regime.
Earlier this week, Pompeo raised the same issue with Rachel Campos Duffy of Fox and Friends. Pompeo said, “As you’ve seen too around the world, respect for religious faith is something that governments have a responsibility to do. I’ve talked at some length about China and how it’s —persecuting over a million Muslims in Xinjiang Province. Leaders all around the world have a responsibility to protect their citizens and permit them to practice their faith. And so there are lots of different reasons for this. I’ve seen it in Christian communities around the world. We have a responsibility in the United States to work diligently to help protect these Christians wherever we can as well, Rachel.”
To counter the world of freedom and democracy, Communist China, Iran, Russia and North Korea have joined in an axis of evil that has posed the greatest threat to humanity. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is at the core of this corps.
In 2020, as the world is entering a new stage of eliminating the CCP in joint efforts, we are expecting more crazy things happening within the CCP leadership.
One thing for sure is that the fake Sino-US trade deal on the coming January 15 will end in a ridiculous way.
