Amid election uncertainties and allegations of voter fraud, tens of thousands of Donald Trump supporters are holding large-scale rallies in Washington and other cities across the country this weekend.
There were at least 24 Facebook events using one or both terms, according to the Anti-Defamation League. D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and the Metropolitan Police Department say they’re monitoring the events but could not provide a crowd estimate.
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said she expected the turnout to be “quite large.”
The rally – advertised by several names including Million MAGA March, Stop the Steal and March for Trump – started at Freedom Plaza, where the crowd’s chants of “four more years” and “stop the steal” largely drowned out event speakers.
President Trump has tweeted, “Hundreds of thousands of people showing their support in D.C. They will not stand for a Rigged and Corrupt Election!”
The President said, “There is tremendous evidence of wide spread voter fraud in that there is irrefutable proof that our Republican poll watchers and observers were not allowed to be present in poll counting rooms. Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia and others. Unconstitutional!”

Supporters of President Trump and his legal challenges have begun to gather at Freedom Plaza for the Million MAGA March on Saturday.
Organisers and right-wing media figures, along with the White House officials, had predicted a huge turnout.
Trump said on Friday he may “try to stop by and say hello”. His motorcade passed the gathering demonstrators on Saturday morning and did a circuit of Freedom Plaza, but carried on to his golf club in Sterling, Virginia.
