Sky News host Chris Smith says the Chinese communist regime has “disgraced themselves in front of the world” after posting a doctored picture of an Australian soldier holding a knife to a child’s neck. “The Chinese Communist Party and its regressive government have outdone themselves,” Mr Smith said. The doctored image – which has not been censored by Twitter despite being faked – were published by China’s foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian who said he was “shocked by murder of Afghan civilians & prisoners by Australian soldiers”.
